Lone Butte Sno-Park is located in Southwest Washington, just north of Carson, Wa. This Sno-Park provides access to Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Indian Heaven Wilderness. The trails leaving here lead to high elevation wilderness and pristine mountain lakes. While they are no equestrians trails leaving directly from the parking lot – you can ride a quiet forest road to link up to the wilderness trails.

Facilities: Vault toilet, shelter with wood stove.
Permits: A valid Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required December 1 to March 31.
Water Sources: None at trailhead.
Backcountry Sites: This location has been used for staging backcountry trips. Many backcountry sites available within the Indian Heaven Wilderness and along the Pacific Crest Trail. If you know backcountry info for this area, please email adventure.equines@gmail.com to update this listing.

Directions: From Carson, Washington take Wind River Highway/Forest Road 30 north. Continue north on Forest Road 30 to the Sno-Park at the junction with Forest Road 32 on the left.
