Hidden Falls, accessed via the Appaloosa Trail from Rock Creek Horse Camp in Southwest Washington, offers a moderate 7.7-mile out-and-back ride with lush forest and wildflowers in the spring.

The Telemark-Eclipse Loop in Methow Valley offers a 10.5-mile loop on primarily on logging roads and single tracks. This area is also known for Larches in the Fall. North Summit Horse Camp has stock water and highline poles.

This urban state park near Portland, OR features well-maintained equestrian trails up to 5.2 miles, ideal for slow leisurely rides or faster paced conditioning, with ample trailer parking and close proximity to the metro area. Bonney Crossing Campground, located in Mt Hood National Forest, offers 3 sites with corrals for equestrians. Providing access to the Badger Creek Wilderness – this camp is on the drier site of Mt Hood and may be a good option for the wetter months.
