Howard Creek Horse Camp sits among the lush forest within Silver Falls State Park in Northwestern Oregon, just under 90 minutes from Portland, Oregon. This camp offers easy trails through the forest, as well as a large group campsite. While the trails here do not go to any of the waterfalls within the park, it does provide a gorgeous forest setting for any level of rider.

Fees: Single site: $22/night, +$10 reservation fee. Group site: $61/night, +$10 reservation fee. Non-Oregon residents pay 25% more for sites.

Getting There

Directions: From Silverton, Oregon take OR-214 South for 15.7 miles. Turn left at park entrance and follow signs to the horse camp.
