Beacon Rock State Park sits outside of Skamania, Washington in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This small camp provides a new updated highline and access to Hamilton Mountain and Hardy Ridge. Use this camp as a base camp to other day rides in the Columbia River Gorge.

Getting There
Directions: From Vancouver, drive east on SR 14 for 35 miles to Beacon Rock State Park. Just before the Ranger Station, turn left on Kueffler Road and drive 1 mile. Turn right on a gravel road with a small sign marked “Equestrian Trailhead.” Proceed for 0.3 mile on this narrow road to a large parking area, picnic area and equestrian campground.

Road Conditions: Mostly paved. A few small pot holes once in the park, then turns to gravel going up the hill.
