Goblers Knob offers panoramic views over Glaze Meadow with the Central Cascade mountain range peeking out on clear days. Located in Central Oregon’s Deschutes National Forest, this 5.8 mile ride leaves from Graham Corral Horse Camp – which has no official day use parking but there’s a small area that has been used for parking that will fit 1-2 trailers.

Water Sources: Yes, at Indian Ford Creek.
Trail Details: Leave Graham Corral on the Metolius-Windigo Trail (northbound) and ride for 2 miles. Take a left onto Glaze Meadow Road and continue for 0.1 miles. Follow the unnamed trail that forks to the right for another 0.8 miles until you reach the viewpoint. The last section is a bit steep but does not have any cliffs on the way up.
Please note that Graham Corral marker is incorrectly marked on Gaia, the correct starting point is as shown in the GPX track.
Trail Challenges: Mountain bikes allowed but I’ve never seen any on this stretch. Creek crossing. Small area at viewpoint with manzanita bushes and a ledge.
Permits: None.
Backcountry Sites: Not suitable for overnight use.
Cell Service: Verizon – good coverage.
Fuel: Chevon – 1001 Railway, Sisters, OR 97759 (not great for really large trailers)
