The Row River Trail is a 14-mile National Recreation Trail located in the Willamette Valley outside of Cottage Grove, Oregon. What was once an old railroad line is now a paved multi use trail that features views of Dorena Lake, remnants of old mines from the 1800s and covered bridges. This trail follow “the Row” (rhymes with cow) and has even had movies filmed along it. Row Point is known for its wildflowers, and the Mosby Creek Covered Bridge is right off the main trail.

- Elevation Gain: 263 feet
- Elevation Loss: 583 feet
- Max Elevation: 976 feet
- Difficulty: Easy
↗ What does this mean? - Footing: Paved, some of the hills can be tricky for shod horses when wet.
- Hoof Protection: Barefoot OK

Facilities: Bathroom at Culp Creek Trailhead with plenty of room for trailers.
Water Sources: No water at trailhead.
Trail Info: Start at the Culp Creek trailhead and ride as far as you like before returning the way you came.
Trail Challenges: Urban park setting, bicycles, skateboards, bridges, road traffic, leashed dogs.
Permits: None.
Backcountry Sites: Not suitable for overnight use.

Directions: From Eugene, take Interstate 5 south to the Cottage Grove exit (#174), and turn east onto Row River Road. Travel for 14 miles, turn left into Culp Creek Trailhead.
