Moraine Lake sits at 6,400 feet in Central Oregon’s Three Sisters Wilderness. This route starts from Devils Lake Trailhead but you can ride this from Sisters Mirror Trailhead, Green Lakes Trailhead or from Todd Creek Horse Camp if you’re up for a longer route. You will need a Cascade Wilderness Permit for this ride, but with several trailheads to leave out of – this ride isn’t too hard to secure a permit for. Please note that Wickiup Plains Trailhead is the same lot as Devil’s Lake Trailhead and frequently is the easiest to get.
