Whitefish Horse Camp in Central Oregon sits on the shore of Lake Cresent and provides access to the Diamond Peak Wilderness. The famed Metolius-Windigo Trail runs through camp, and many other trails offer treks to pristine lakes. Whether you like long mileage or shorter jaunts, this camp has scenery for any rider.

The lake is also shallow enough to ride to the island at sunset- however be careful on the shoreline if you ride towards the south to the inlet- quicksand exists and your horse will give you a quick exit.
