Moquistang; one little mustang who does it all.

Mirror Lake Trailhead provides access to the Three Sisters Wilderness via Mirror Lakes Trail #20 and eventually the Pacific Crest Trail. Access to Sink Creek Trail #20.1 is directly across the highway.

Parking: Small lot- would not attempt with anything larger than a 2H BP. Avoid typical busy times.

• Koosah Mountain – 5.0 miles
• Sisters Mirror Lake – 3.5 miles
• Wickiup Plain – 5.8 miles
• Pacific Crest Trail – 3.3 miles
• Mesa Springs – 7.3 miles
• Quinn Meadow Horse Camp – 1.9 miles

Facilities: No bathroom, no hitching post. No corrals, no water.

Permits: 

• Day Use – Central Cascades Wilderness Permit – online reservation required.
• Overnight Use – Central Cascades Wilderness Permit – online reservation required. 
• Parking – NW Forest Pass or Interagency Pass.

Backcountry Sites: Mesa Springs

Cell Service: Verizon service at trailhead.

Elevation: 5400 feet

Fuel: Bend or Sunriver. Elk Lake Resort not suitable for trailers.

Directions: From Bend, OR: Travel 30 miles west on Cascade Lakes Highway (46) on the west side of the highway.
