Six Lakes Trailhead provides access to the Three Sisters Wilderness via Six Lakes Trail #14 and eventually the Pacific Crest Trail.

Parking: Very large lot, large rigs OK.

  • Blow Lake – 1.1 miles
  • Doris Lake – 2.3 miles
  • Senoj Lake – 3.8 miles
  • Pacific Crest Trail – 5.3 miles
  • Cliff Lake – 6.9 miles
  • Mink Lake Basin – 8.3 miles

Facilities: Pit toilet and hitching post. No corrals, no water.

Permits: 

Day Use – Central Cascades Wilderness Permit – self Issue at trailhead.
Overnight Use – Central Cascades Wilderness Permit – Online reservation required. 
Parking – NW Forest Pass or Interagency Pass.

Backcountry Sites: Possibly at Reserve Meadow on PCT – no further info. Please submit photos and info if you ride there.

Cell Service: Verizon service at trailhead.

Elevation: 4955 feet

Fuel: Bend or Sunriver. Elk Lake Resort not suitable for trailers.

Directions: From Bend, OR: Travel 35 miles west on Cascade Lakes Highway (46) on the west side of the highway.
